Laugh, Apples, Laugh

This dessert was inspired by "The Mushroom Song," and created by Amy K.

Ingredients:

1 package of frozen pie crusts
1 stick of butter or margarine
cinnamon
sugar
2-3 granny smith apples

Preparation:

Set the pie crusts out to thaw a little. While they are thawing, cut the apples into small chunks, approximately 3/4 to one inch. Next, cut the pie crusts into fourths (you'll now have 8 triangles). Place the desired amount of apples on each pie crust. Top with butter (again, whatever amount you think), and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Close the pie crusts, pressing the edges together to seal. Sprinkle the tops with a little more cinnamon and sugar.
Bake at 400 degrees until crust is light brown (edges will be slightly darker).
Serves 8.
